Ben Prickett, Owner
Steve Croyle, the founder of Lake City Transmission retired on April 2, 2014 when he sold the business to Ben Prickett. In the pursuit of a safer, smaller town to raise his little girls, Ben and his family moved to Hayden from Houston, Texas and Ben took the reins from there.
Inspired by the sterling reputation for honesty and integrity that Steve Croyle established, Ben committed to continue serving the community exactly as Steve did over the previous 28 years. Ben and his family appreciate the opportunity to serve the Coeur d’Alene area and they couldn’t be happier.
In his spare time Ben enjoys hiking with his family, fishing, home improvement projects, and watching college football. His favorite vehicle(s) are vintage Toyota Land Cruisers. He currently owns a 1977 Datsun 280Z.
